Delete your ELI-Brief account

This is how to delete your account for ELI-Brief, the app by Ellis AI Labs LLC, and everything in it.

In the app or on the web

1. Open ELI-Brief on your phone, or sign in at elibrief.app.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Enter your password and a code from your authenticator app.
4. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Can't sign in?

Email justin@ellisailabs.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my ELI-Brief account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.

What's deleted

• Your subscription is cancelled at the same time, so you won't be charged again.
• You're signed out on every device right away, and your account can't be used again.
• Your notes, to-dos, transcripts, recordings, files, plans, recaps, voice sample, calendar connections and devices are erased within 30 days, and from our encrypted backups within a further 30 days.

What's kept

• A billing record (your email, Stripe's customer and subscription IDs, plan and dates), for tax and accounting and so the free trial is used once per person. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its privacy policy.
• Entries in our security log (sign-ins and account changes, not your content), for up to 400 days.

Deleting your ELI-Brief account doesn't touch anything in your Plaud account or your calendars: those stay where they are. More in our Privacy Policy.
